Hudson River bridge at Luzerne

A simple truss bridge, erected across the upper Hudson River at Luzerne, was sketched in 1818 by Jacques-Gerard Milbert. This lithograph of the scene was later reproduced in his “Picturesque Itinerary of the Hudson River and the Peripheral Parts of the United States.” (Columbia University Libraries via Internet Archive)
