My name is Steve Boerner. I’ve spent my professional life in the communications industry – first as a newspaper photographer, editor and designer and, for the past 20 years, as the owner of a freelance graphic design business.
In the course of my work I became interested in using 3D graphics tools for two-dimensional print and web design projects. Now I have an opportunity to use those tools to indulge in a personal interest in the Erie Canal, an amazing artifact of our history within easy walking distance of my home. I’ll share what I learn, and will document the process of building the landscapes, on this site.
